![]() ![]() When both apps are side-by-side, drag the grey line within the black bar in the middle of the two apps left or right to increase of decrease the space each app is using on the screen. By sliding the divider to the left or right, you may choose which app in Split View will be closed when the other app expands to fill the screen. Under the heading Allow Multiple Apps, toggle the switch to the Off position. You can end Split View on an iPad by moving the black divider bar to the screen’s border. Scroll down and tap on Multitasking & Dock. The second app will appear side by side with the orignal appīy default, the two apps you select will appear in a 50:50 split, but you can change this if you want one app to take up slightly more room on the screen.
